This was a great place to stay to be near the station and be in the down town central area of sydney. It was cheap and clean and the showers were excellent (not easy to find in the cheaper price range). Juan, the young man at the desk was very helpful and went out of his way to be helpful.
Bit of a mix up with the booking, so a bed wasn't available until late in the day. However, I was able to use the shower and common room while I waited.

I was absolutely appauled at the price I was charged $89!!!!! And not even a working fan! Also I had to carry a large heavy suitcase down the stairs! It was noisy (all nigh) doors banging, and because it was stifling in the room I had to have the filthy windows open all night. The kitchen was unhygenic, and quite honestly, you should not be in business.

This hotel in the Haymarket area of central Sydney is a great find! Its location near Central station and Chinatown makes it convenient for exploring the city. The staff here are friendly and helpful, and they even offer a common room where you can store your luggage overnight. The rooms are spacious enough and the beds are comfortable. Plus, having a TV in the room is a nice touch.
Only improvement needed is better ventilation in the rooms.

it was central
it was very cold in my room and one of the curtains was missing, which did not help with the cold, and gave me lack of privacy

The location of Central Inn was absolutely perfect for our stay in Sydney. Everything we wanted to see and do was within walking distance, including attractions, shops, and restaurants. The convenience of having train stations and bus stops just a couple minutes away made it easy for us to explore the city. The room itself was clean and tidy, providing us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sydney.

It was close to everything
There was a cockroach in the room and the staff did not care. The pick- up sucks we wait for 3hrs, for a trip that can be done in 20min. The building is old.

Great location, easy to find. Staff were helpful with luggage and the shower pressure was nice. Room size was good with a comfortable bed and clean linen. Enjoyed the quietness and the nice little fan for air circulation.
Lots of stairs made it difficult to carry luggage. Found wet floors and hair in the bathrooms and no towels to dry hands.
